I was working on a film in Memphis a few MLK Days ago and when a march walked past our office, I left work, joined in and found myself at an emotional gathering in front of the Lorraine Hotel. A year later I was in the middle of the Caribbean Ocean working on the According to Jim Disney cruise episode, watching little white girls get their hair braided into corn rows... to commemorate MLK Day? This MLK Day I've got the day off so I'll watch Haitians struggle to survive on CNN and remember their proud history of overthrowing a government and bringing themselves out of slavery. And then... maybe an oil change.

He's So Cool
